FAQ

Q. Won't having my wedding filmed be intrusive?

With fully trained, courteous operators, dressed for the occasion we blend into the background on your wedding day. Our subtlety is something of which we are very proud and is frequently attested by our clients. Our equipment list also includes 'long lenses' which allow us to get close to the action without there ever being a camera in the way.

Q. Can I choose my own music?

YES! Just send us a CD of your favourite songs or email them to us.

Q. Can I have my wedding film in black And white?

Yes - we have a variety of colours and editing styles to choose from. These can be viewed under ‘colour grading’ on our sample DVD. (This service is subject to an additional charge).

Q. Why would I want my wedding filmed in widescreen?

It is important to have your wedding filmed in a format that will last for decades to come. That's why Jam Wedding Films shoots all of our weddings in a true 16:9 (widescreen) format, supporting future generations of digital viewing.

Q. Why would I want my wedding filmed in High Definition?

High Definition (HD) format produces results of at least four times the quality of previous standards. We will also be able to provide you with upgraded copies in the future as HD technologies become standard.

Q. How long must we wait to receive our wedding DVD?

With a normal turnaround of two to three weeks, Jam Wedding Films aims to have your wedding DVD ready for you when you arrive back from your honeymoon (Subject to circumstances).

Q. I have relatives in other countries - will the DVD work for them?

Just inform us of the country they are in and/or what format they require and we will ensure that a DVD copy in a suitable format is made available. (This service is subject to an additional charge).
In addition, with every package, online highlights is the perfect way to share your special day with friends and family overseas.

Q. Why would I want multiple cameras and operators at my wedding?

Multiple cameras not only provide a more detailed account of your special day but also allow Jam Wedding Films to capture some of those moments that you might otherwise miss. Two cameras allow us to capture both the bride’s preparations AND the arrival of your guests. A THIRD camera would capture the grooms preparations. The final result from a multi-camera shoot is generally more enjoyable to watch.

Testimonials

"Thank you Ruth Harris and Jam for the beautiful wedding DVD of our daughters special day. Many tears of joy were shed as we watched the DVD over and over, the grandparents love it and one day I hope the kids will love it too!"

Felicity and Edward Cartledge

"We were delighted with our wedding video. It was extremely professionally shot and captured all our favourite moments of the day - and more! I didn't even notice the camera/camera operator on the day. I would highly recommend Jam to anyone wanting a high quality yet relaxed feel to their wedding video. We have watched ours many times already and will keep it forever."

Sian and Thomas Dixon

"We enjoyed every second of our wedding dvd and saw so many things we'd have never seen any other way! Jam did a beautiful job of capturing every special moment of our day and even went through the edit with us to make sure we were perfectly happy with particular shots. Thank you Jam!"
